Job Description
Essential Job Duties


  • Monitor individual supported benefits including keeping track of pay stubs, ensuring they are reported to Social Security Office as needed. Keeping track of individuals' work trial timeline.
  • Assist in implementation and monitoring requirements for DRS contracts and/or employment grants.
  • Make presentations to organizations and businesses as requested.
  • Promote individual accommodations, modifications, accessibility, and integration.
  • Assist in the development of natural supports within the work environment.
  • Ensure placements of individual supported in a variety of settings.
  • Provide job site training assistance to individuals supported in community-based jobs.
  • Ensure staff are trained on programs, philosophy, and implementing them accordingly.
  • Teach employment/career classes.
  • Market Kreider Services community program to potential employers. Maintain a record of contacts, placement openings that have occurred, person referred, and action taken.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Maintain open communication with the Supervisor keeping them informed of significant, relevant information and meeting as requested.
  • Supervise all employment staff including training, sharing relevant information, gathering input, celebrating accomplishments, performance appraisal and discipline.
  • Adhere to all agency policies and procedures.
  • Participate as an instructor for employee training as needed.
  • Make and maintain contact with area businesses, employment agencies and other available community resources for the purpose of placement opportunities in the area for employment opportunities.
  • Maintain contact with sites regarding the progress of placements and satisfaction with the program.
  • Write a task analysis on the duties the individual supported is to do and train the individual supported on the site, provide support, retraining and follow-up support as needed.
  • Maintain communication with businesses, families, and other departments at Kreider.
  • Monitor and submit billing documentation monthly as required.
  • Coordinate transportation, train individuals on obtaining transportation, and when necessary, provide transportation.
  • Document in writing all contacts, and meetings.


Additional Job Duties


  • Dress appropriately for the duties scheduled for the employment site.
  • Attend all required meetings, committees, and staffing.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in assigned trainings and State-wide meetings.


Qualifications


  • A valid driver's license required with a driving record acceptable to agency insurer.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to build community partnerships essential.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven ability to carry out job duties in a professional manner, with a positive outlook and approach.
  • Ability to be independent, organized, self-motivated, and a self-starter.
  • Good leadership, organization, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Services and support are individualized, and may, at times, be required to work on evenings and weekends to accommodate individuals' schedules.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities in areas of community, integrated, competitive employment preferred.
  • ACRE trained or ability to complete in 6 months.
