Employment Program Specialist Jobs

Assesses the needs, strengths, and preferences of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Consults with and educates employee/employer (Atrium) on how to work with participants with developmental disabilities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following.

Assist program participants with maintaining employment.

Reviews billing of job coaches prior to submitting to Therap & Director of Clinical Services.

Ensures the confidentiality of individuals, including their records and individual support and services provided.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities in areas of community, integrated, competitive employment preferred.

Assist in implementation and monitoring requirements for DRS contracts and/or employment grants.

Good leadership, organization, communication, and presentation skills.

Proven ability to carry out job duties in a professional manner, with a positive outlook and approach.

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Provide job site training assistance to individuals supported in community-based jobs.

QUALIFICATION FOR AN EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM SPECIALIST

Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

DAY-TO-DAY AS AN EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM SPECIALIST

regular business hours, Monday through Friday
