YOUR LIFE AS A EMPLOYMENT PLACEMENT SUPERVISOR

This full-time vocational rehabilitation position in human services typically works during the day.


n


As an Employment Placement Supervisor with our amazing nonprofit, you have an incredibly important role! You get to oversee the execution of our top-notch workshop curriculum and make sure that our participants are ready to take on the world with industry-recognized credential exams or assessments. You provide guidance and support to our team of workshop facilitators, helping them to grow and develop into the best versions of themselves.

We know that you're the perfect person for this role because you're a natural leader! You take on administrative duties with ease, making sure that everything runs smoothly and participants are prepared for unsubsidized employment. You coordinate schedules and time off for our staff, ensuring that everyone has the time they need to rest and recharge.


n


But that's not all! You are also responsible for keeping accurate records of participant progress and training, and you use your expert instructional skills to teach our participants in both individual and group settings. You come up with practical exercises to help our participants learn and grow, and you work closely with our case managers to ensure that everyone is on track to achieve their goals.


n


Of course, sometimes there might be issues that arise, but don't worry - you've got this! You handle inappropriate behaviors with grace and tact, and you submit timely reports to the appropriate personnel. You also participate in outreach activities and help to select and develop new facilitators.

What We Need From You


n


n


  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field such as psychology, vocational rehabilitation, or occupational rehabilitation from an accredited institution


n


  • 4+ years of experience as an instructor and familiarity with Certiport, AHLEI, OSHA, or other industry-recognized exam proctoring


n


  • 1+ years of supervisory experience OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience

Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. If you have the right vocational rehabilitation and psychology skills for this job, we would be happy to have you as part of our human services nonprofit!
