SUMMARY
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is a non-sworn, non-fire suppression position in the Emergency Services Division of the Fire-Medical Department. Incumbents respond to emergency calls, maintain equipment, training and required certifications.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Must have at the time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona Driver License
• Possession of a current Arizona Emergency Medical Technician Certification at the time of application

• Fingerprinting
• 39 Month Motor Vehicle Department Records Check
