Job Description


Are you a passionate and dedicated special education teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Burbank, IL? Spindle, a leading contract staffing agency, is currently seeking a Full-Time Special Education Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year.


Position: Full-Time Special Education Teacher


Location: Burbank, IL


Responsibilities


  • Elementary Caseload
  • Will act as an case manager and conduct all IEP paperwork/student progress updates
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Assess students' progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and interventions
  • Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure students' educational needs are met
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning abilities
  • Create and maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Valid Illinois Teaching Certification in Special Education (LBS1 Required)
  • Knowledge of current special education laws and best practices
  • Experience working with students with various disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Hourly Pay Rate: $42.00/hour
