RESPONSABILITIES

The Engineer will design, develop energy storage systems, In addition, this position will also work with customers and Product Management to establish product technical specifications and coordinate verification of the specifications. Development using lab equipment will be required as well as active participation in testing activities. This is a very hands-on role that will require customer visits integration of hardware and software with customer equipment.

  • Evaluates competitive product designs and performance
  • Determine technical specifications
  • Makes suggestions for continuous improvements and automates processes for greater efficiency.
  • Gathers and shares new technology knowledge.
  • Participates in road mapping future product features and technologies
  • Understand industry standard tests for batteries, chargers and electrical system equipment. Work with test personnel to develop test plans and procedures.
  • Drafts scripts together with the project team or engineering/service department in order to deliver correct input for processes.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
  • Languages: excellent command of technical English.
  • Work experience: at least 5 years of work experience in an electronic testing environment.
  • Problem analysis, Research, Creativity & Design, Initiative, Oral and written communication
  • Good knowledge of National Instruments and experience with lab equipment is required.
  • Knowledge of Python is a plus
