Job Description

Electrical Engineer

Location: Palmdale, CA - Onsite
Clearance Required: Active US DOD Secret Clearance
Rate: $60 to 90 an hour**


Are you ready to work in Palmdale area for a leading R&D Project for Aeronautical Mission Ready Solution Teams? We are seeking an Electrical Engineer who is ready to research, develop, design, and test electrical components.

Have you worked on Wire Harness Design? Are you able to meet DOD Schematic Requirements for Assembly Designs?

This position will have the Electrical Engineer focus on the electrical wiring and harness assembly diagram design and development.

Duties include:
  • Resolving wiring/integration related issues between the various avionics/electrical systems,
  • Creating wiring diagrams and harness assembly diagrams,
*Validating/interpreting/troubleshooting/resolving any wiring related issues, *Performing technical checks to ensure wiring document correctness,
  • Providing engineering sign-off on all new/revised manufacturing wiring documents (Wire Routing Documents (WRDs),
  • Collaborate with the team effort to develop wiring from design to installation, to include liaising between Avionics Wiring Design and Production/Manufacturing to ensure wiring requirements flow from design to installation.
  • Review of Termination Aids (TAs) and Wire Harness Master (WHM) sketches).

Education Required:
  • Bachelor Degree with a STEM Degree Preferred


Skills and Experience Required:
  • Resolving wiring/integration
  • Harness assembly diagrams
  • Experienced in creating supplier statement of work and management of suppliers
  • Over 16 years of electrical systems experience
