Responsibilities

  • Other duties as directed by management
  • Uphold housekeeping standards.
  • Maintain Asset Documentation Library for ease of use
  • Support site and Maintenance manager in establishing and managing the site’s asset reliability program to achieve World Class reliability, safety, and maintenance effectiveness.
  • Guide and train department personnel on technologies in order to assist reliability
  • Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis studies.
  • Work closely with Operations and Maintenance personnel to troubleshoot problems. Provide second level troubleshooting when equipment issues are beyond the technical knowledge of the Maintenance Technicians.
  • Create and maintain documentation, files, procedures, and drawings in order to ensure integrity and continuity of site equipment. Responsible for ensuring all aspects of all new, modified, or altered equipment meet design criteria, internal Freudenberg standards as well as external regulatory requirements.
  • When required, draft and submit Concept papers for capital project ideas.
  • Act as a resource to the Engineering department for site capital projects to ensure that site policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and Safety needs are met.
  • Support overall electrical systems along with management of change.
  • Execute Management of Change and complete design in order to correctly and safely define and implement improvements.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering is required. Strong foundational knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Foundational understanding of asset integrity management
  • Root Cause failure analysis training
  • 5-10 years of industrial plant experience is preferred.
