Summary
The EHS Specialist supports the plant applying the EHS rules and requirements, and being responsible for the risk assessment and for the evaluation of the environmental impacts.
They update the safety and environmental documents and procedures, contribute to the EHS training needs identification, manage the emergency response plan and participate to the EHS audits.
Duties and Responsibilities
Cooperate with the Plant Manager to solve and manage environmental and safety issues;
Responsible for the Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety management system implementation and certifications;
Support the identification of EHS training needs, organizing the proper training once required;
Identify EHS risks;
Responsible for the risks assessment and for the evaluation of the environmental impact;
Participate to EHS audits;
Update and publish EHS policies, procedures and documents.
