Job Description

Korn Ferry has partnered with an industry leading industrial manufacturer to identify an EHS Manager to lead their site-wide EHS initiatives by developing, implementing and monitoring metrics to manage risk and drive continuous safety improvement.


The site has been in existence for nearly 50 years and continues to be a model operation for the company's network of manufacturing locations. The EHS Manager role is highly visible, trusted to establish EHS Excellence at the site, while also collaborating across the network with other EHS leaders.


General Responsibilities:

  • Create strategies for the development and execution of programs, policies, and procedures that address occupational injury and illness prevention, risk management, compliance assurance, and environmental protection based on governing regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.), best practice standards (ANSI, NFPA, ACGIH, etc.), data analysis and trend tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and requirements including monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting.
  • Implement and promote the corporate EHS Excellence system to increase employee awareness, engagement, and accountability to drive continuous improvement and business performance.
  • Develop and implement strategic training programs that educate stakeholders on EHS policies, procedures, and company standards.
  • Develop and track EHS and sustainability metrics to analyze and trend EHS performance and program engagement.


Experience and Qualifications:

  • CSP, CHMM, or other related professional certification preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, safety sciences, environmental sciences, engineering, or related field.
  • 5 - 7 years of EHS Management experience.
