Editorial Specialist (Remote) Jobs

Compensation Range: $32 - 36 per hour

Our client, a thriving nonprofit, is looking for a talented Editorial Specialist to join their team on a short term basis. In this role your primary responsibility will be to help edit and create content. You will need to quickly understand tone of voice and use that to adapt to the role. The ideal candidate should have both strong editing skills as well as the ability to write original pieces.
Responsibilities:

• Write summary panel briefs as well as marketing emails and social media copy.
• View publications and shorter pieces through a lens of powerful storytelling.
• Edit publications written by colleagues and draft summary blogs based on the publications.

Qualifications:

• Experience in ensuring consistent voice across channels.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Experience level: Experienced
• Experience in financial services, financial inclusion, or fintech preferred.
• At least 5 years of writing and editorial experience, particularly in B2B field or journalism.
