Job Requirement:
Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S Security Clearance.

Education / Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Job Summary:
Reviews technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications. Familiarity with complex subject matter. Understands Department of Defense Standard Practices (MIL-STD-40051-2C) and other applicable standards and guidance. Ensures proper spelling, grammar, consistency, and strict compliance with MIL-STD rules, customer requirements, and standard technical writing practices. Reviews illustrative materials and accompanying figures, diagrams, and charts to ensure MIL-STD compliance and to ensure appropriate integration into manuals. Possesses excellent writing and grammar skills. Able to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
  • Must have a complete understanding of principles, concepts, practices, and standards of technical content created in XML.
  • Must be able to read and interpret complex specifications and system descriptions.
