Job Description

Kari Traa is a leading European women’s specialty brand that is known for its fun bright designs in a wide range of categories, including base layer, training, ski, and outerwear. The brand was introduced to the North American outdoor/ski market in 2015 with great success and has grown quickly – and we have developed significant partnerships with specialty chains in the U.S. and Canada in relatively short time. The Kari Traa brand is part of Active Brands, a Norwegian-based brand house with subsidiaries in Europe and North America. Our velocity means opportunity – interested?


Kari Traa has experienced tremendous growth, and we need your digital marketing and paid media experience to help us expand our direct sales channel in North America. You will be responsible for the digital consumer experience and promotional strategy - managing the performance marketing budget and maximizing eCommerce revenue. Your experience in performance marketing with outdoor brands has given you an in-depth understanding of metrics, analytics platforms and how to drive growth in online sales. What you’ll be doing:

  • Ability to be in our Broomfield office a couple days a week
  • Creating the best-in-class consumer journey across digital platforms to maximize consumer engagement
  • Providing continuous updates to key stakeholders focusing on KPI performance and development
  • Working closely with the global product & brand teams to reinforce localization of promotions and marketing programs with consistent messaging
  • Collaborating with our digital agency in planning, executing, and optimizing our campaigns that drive sales and elevate the Kari Traa brand
  • Driving the eCommerce business for Kari Traa in North America - planning, executing, and optimizing our digital communication and performance marketing
  • Advocating for the Kari Traa mission as an ambassador - living in full color!
  • Owning the promotional calendar for Kari Traa in partnership with finance, brand & DSM teams for the North American marketplace


What you’ll need to bring with you:

  • Articulate, competent communication style – you deliver your message clearly, concisely, and confidently
  • A good sense of humor and the ability stay calm in a lean, high-growth environment!
  • Advanced experience Google Analytics and dashboarding apps like Adobe Analytics, Power BI or Tableau
  • Bachelor’s degree in a marketing related discipline with an emphasis on digital
  • Comprehensive understanding of omnichannel marketing with a focus on digital commerce and driving new business
  • At least 2 years of eCommerce performance marketing experience with outdoor soft goods or premium women’s brands
  • A self-starter with strong analytical skills translating data and insights into digestible plan of action with measurable ROI
