The Civil Center for Behavioral Health at Maple Lane has an opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.
In this role, you will participate in providing excellent nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You'll enjoy interacting with our clients as you team up to help them improve and work toward recovery. Come help us Transform Lives as you partner with a variety of medical professionals and staff that are passionate about making a positive impact.
As a lead LPN, you’ll be a member of a multi-disciplinary team, which is responsible for implementing a therapeutic environment/milieu through effective management of treatment strategies, proactive interventions, and monitoring of patients' behavior. Each team member contributes to rehabilitating individuals.
Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
Some of what you'll do:
- Carry out the plan of care by performing common therapeutic nursing interventions
- Maintain accurate, legible, and complete records of patient care.
- Determine when needs for care or services are beyond the LPN scope of practice, require clarification, or require another type or level of intervention
- Assist the Registered Nurse in developing nursing diagnoses and outcomes to be achieved as a result of nursing intervention
- Contribute to the development of the plan of nursing care including identification of approaches, timeframes, and pathways for the delivery of healthcare
