Job Description
About the Role:
EGT, EGlobalTech, one of DC's fastest growing consulting firm, is looking for a Junior Analyst to support a variety of activities surrounding the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), including FOIA case workflow support, appeals support, information research, project support, and FOIA process optimization. Responsibilities:
  • Scan incoming mail requests.
  • Arrange meeting logistics
  • Conduct relevant research and analysis
  • Provide general support as required
  • Ensure accurate record keeping
  • Maintain accurate case files and status in customer provided software.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and communicate FOIA status.
  • Sort incoming mail and other communications and distribute accordingly.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • This position requires a badge and or clearance that will require an extensive background, credit, and drug screening requirement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and team-oriented
  • Willingness to learn and invest in self-development
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to work independently under general guidance
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
  • Demonstrated ability to produce consistently high-quality work under fluid conditions
  • Ability to do repetitive tasks while remaining prepared to take on auxiliary duties on short notice
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong organizational, clerical and customer service skills
