The main function of a documentation specialist is storing data and records for document retrieval and archives. The typical documentation specialist performs some type of data entry as part of their job.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver a framework detailing the recommended approach, methodology, and timeline of gathering and finalizing process documentation across Treasury pillars
  • Document detailed process documents through interviews and shadowing current team members
  • Deliver final set of desktop procedures, process flows, and BCP documents as agreed upon
  • Create and deliver a framework for business continuity planning including:
  • Provide checkpoint updates to share readouts on status updates based on defined roadmap, and gather feedback from leadership team
  • Training plan and execution based on process documentation created
  • Conduct a current state assessment and deliver a read-out of Treasury organization’s process documentation gaps, including but not limited to desktop procedures and process flows
  • Define and implement a process for managing changes to documentation, and train Treasury team on the change control process
  • Identification of critical tasks and alignment on backup contact in partnership with team leads
  • Global contact list including global team and external vendors


Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
