Job Description
Sage Ventures is a full-service vertically integrated residential development and investment firm. As a collaboratively run corporation, we develop, own, and operate exceptional properties throughout the greater Baltimore/Washington region.


Summary:


The Division Manager is responsible for the overall management of the construction and development division. This position reports directly to the CEO. Job duties include overseeing all aspects of the business, from project management to operational planning, including budgets and forecasts, and staffing. The Division Manager must have a strong understanding of the construction industry and be able to manage a team of professionals to achieve success.


Responsibilities:


  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
  • Oversee all aspects of the construction and development process, from project planning to completion
  • Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies
  • Develop and implement budgets and financial plans
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors
  • Represent the company to the public and to clients
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Manage a team of professionals, including architects, engineers, contractors, and other staff


Qualifications:


  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • 10+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
