Job Description

FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Logistics and Distribution Manager for a rapidly growing client! This company has an excellent reputation for the design, manufacture, and distribution of high-quality products.


So, what will you be doing as Logistics and Distribution Manager?

-Manage day-to-day Logistics and Distribution for the primary distribution center, two 3PLs

-Develop procedures to measure facility and employee performance

-Drive a process improvement focused culture

-Create process for DC operations and ERP system usage


What you will need to be successful:

-BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or another related field

-5+ years experience in Distribution Management

-Experience with managing teams of 25+ (direct and indirect)

-Proven ability to drive improvements to performance metrics

-Experience with ERP and WMS systems


Things that are also considered a plus:

-MBA

-Experience with consumer products

-SAP

-Six Sigma certification
