Job Description
Overview:
Assists in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining room areas. Consistently meets or exceeds standards for guest service and cleanliness. Is familiar with and complies with the Sacred Rock Inn standards and philosophy in performing all key areas of accountability and other essential duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • No previous experience is required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Serv Safe Certification or ability to become certified is required.
  • CPR certification may be recommended.
  • Must pass all applicable background check requirements.

Pay range: $17.00 - $22.10 per hour
  • Includes a gas benefit per shift for qualifying employees!
Responsibilities:
  • Wipe down all dining room tables and wash placemats.
  • Properly wash and store all food prep and service items.
  • Assist cooks with food preparation if needed.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum dining room and lounge area.
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner as outlined in the codes of safe practices learned in the Safe Serv Course.
  • Properly wash and store all table service items.
  • Clean dishwasher and replace product after shift.
  • Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines.
  • Report all accidents/injuries to supervisor and/or MOD immediately regardless of severity. Any safety gear must be used/worn at all times.
  • Adhere to the Sacred Rock Inn key control policy.
  • Keep storage areas neat and organized.
  • Replace and organize sheet pans in refrigerator and freezer.
  • Alert manager if cleaning supplies need to be ordered.
  • Empty garbage and recycling, breaking down boxes for recycling.
  • Hot mop service walkway outside kitchen.
  • Disassemble and clean stove top.
  • Help bus/clear/re-set tables if requested.
  • Prep fruit and potatoes for next breakfast shift.
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces including inside sinks.
  • Move and arrange furniture.
  • Clean garbage and recycling cans.
  • Wipe down all lounge counters.
  • Clean tables and chairs in dining room area.
  • Rotate and organize produce deliveries.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floor, including under appliances and sinks.
