Description
JR77865 Director, Revenue & Vendor Management
Responsible for supporting the Procurement/Vendor Management Office. Directs all vendor management efforts for an enterprise function management including vendor relationships and performance management of multiple vendors.
How Will You Make An Impact
  • Oversees and/or prepares vendor spend analysis against financial reports and forecasts to business leaders along with monthly and quarterly variance analysis.
  • Oversees monitoring of organizational provider incentive programs to ensure alignment with established budgets.
  • Sets operational priorities and manages resources to achieve operational goals and budgets.
  • Coordinates information between actuary/finance/membership and operations to ensure accuracy in processes that affect revenue collection.
  • To ensure appropriate reconciliation of payment to membership by product, by contract, etc.
  • Partners with Carelon Health market P&L leaders, Carelon membership, Carelon billing, and Carelon Health finance to:
  • Consults with business leaders and project sponsors to identify business and vendor needs and to ensure alignment with strategic direction, priorities, and the delivery of business value.
  • Acts as a liaison between the business and vendors.
  • Ensures both organizational objectives and vendor initiatives are implemented to achieve optimum results.
  • To ensure consistent and accurate collection and allocation of payments on services performed
  • Responsible for providing oversight for all vendor management initiatives including monitoring service levels, ensuring compliance, and identifying opportunities to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
  • Partners with Sourcing & Supplier Performance (S&SP) and/or Capability Sourcing on contract management negotiations and renewal.
  • Utilizes input from stakeholders to develop, communicate, and execute vendor strategies.
  • Supports business unit and cross-functional leadership on the development and management of vendor financial plans to drive and allow for profitable business growth.
  • Connects regularly and consistently with Carelon Health leadership on all eligibility and revenue-related projects/issues and discrepancies.
  • Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with vendors.
Minimum Requirements
  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related area; 8 - 10 years of experience in consulting, vendor management, and negotiations; a minimum of 5 years experience with program management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $163,330 to $195,960
Locations: California; Colorado; Nevada; Washington State; Jersey City, NJ; New York City, NY; Ithaca, NY and Westchester County, NY
