The Garner-Hayfield-Ventura Community School District is seeking a dynamic leader of technology for our district.

GHV CSD is proud to offer a progressive PK-12 educational program to approximately 900 students housed in two buildings located in the city of Garner. Both Garner and Ventura are proud communities located in North Iowa, a short distance west of Interstate 35 and the Avenue of the Saints. Garner has a long and distinguished history as a progressive and successful community. Ventura is small community located along Clear Lake. Ventura is know as "Iowa's Sportmans Paradise".

Summary: Responsible for creating and implementing district-wide information technology and telecommunication operations, services and strategic planning. Investigates, researches, evaluates, and recommends creative and innovative uses of technology as a means of improving instructional, curriculum, academic support and administrative delivery systems. Directs information management budgeting, strategic and tactical planning, and database system strategy.

District Leadership: Provides visionary leadership on any instructional technology components to enhance academic performance and support for implementation of the school district’s student achievement goals. Supports the district leadership team’s initiatives regarding technology integration and instructional goals and objectives for the district; provides continuous evaluation of progress toward achievements of these goals and objectives.
