About The Role:

The Director of Supply Chain Operations will play a pivotal role in establishing, leading, and optimizing a high-performing supply chain operation for an early-stage, high-growth portfolio of products that are significantly disrupting the snacking category. The incumbent will strategize and oversee logistics operations, warehousing functions, and the overall fulfillment network to ensure efficiency and optimization across retail and direct-to-consumer operations. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial leader with a strong background in logistics, transportation, warehousing, and strategic supply chain management.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop and manage systematic processes that capture full cycle shipment visibility for cross-functional partners to execute as needed.
• Own logistics network performance and be responsible for partner selection. This includes responsibility for managing all freight pay, OS&D, and Claims Resolution.
• Identify, initiate, and oversee continuous improvement projects to streamline processes and enhance quality, sustainability, and service.
• Design, implement, and optimize retail order fulfillment processes that ensure best in class service and budget delivery..
• Primary responsibilities encompass Retail Customer Order Execution, Supplier Relationship Management, Warehousing & Fulfillment Operations, and Transportation Management.
• Drive streamlined logistics management and communication on high visibility, high impact turn-key programs with the world's largest retailers.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in transportation capabilities to build a best-in-class supply chain that aligns with the Feastables business model.
• Conduct Quarterly business reviews to review SLA adherence and associated metrics by all managed supply chain partners.
• Set, Measure, and Report on departmental operational metrics and targets to drive visibility on network performance.
• Team lead responsible to provideFinance projections, budgets, and reconciliations for all key financial impacts that relate to transportation, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
• Create and manage short- and long-term logistics forecasts to support warehouse labor planning, budget delivery, and effective operations across established KPIs.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key external supply chain partners including: 3PLs, CoManufacturers, Value Added Service Providers, Freight Carriers and Customers/Retailers.

Recipe For Success:

• Six Sigma Black Belt / APICS certification preferred
• Superior MS Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Strong time management and organization skills
• 7+ years' Logistics / Supply Chain leadership experience
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a 'self-start' mentality
• Leadership qualities with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable with a flexible work schedule
• Ability to travel 10-20% to visit 3PLs and logistics partners
• Problem-solving skills with a consistent focus on details
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations required
• Experience in establishing and negotiating contracts with supply chain partners
• Ability to adapt to a variety of challenges in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to effectively manage workload, meet deadlines and ensure quality output
• Experience in Food/Beverage manufacturing and Consumer Packaged Good industry preferred
