Director of Activities & Resident Engagement - Position Summary: Director of Activities & Resident Engagement will be responsible for creating a one of the kind experience for our residents and will oversee event planning, vendor selection, will plan and organize residents trips and more. This position reports to the Executive Director and is supervises the Engagement Services departmental staff.

Director of Resident Activities & Engagement - Qualifications:

• Flexibility to workdays, evenings & weekends as required.
• Dementia/Alzheimer experience.
• Certifications as a recreation specialists/recreation assistant are strongly desired.
• Supervisory Experience.

Director of Resident Activities & Engagement - Duties:

• Develops and manages the annual department budget.
• Interviews residents to determine their past and present interests and talents, as well as their satisfaction with the community’s programs and activities.
• Utilizes outside community resources and independent contractors to enrich the variety of programs made available to residents.
• Plans, develops, and implements resident lifestyle programs within the community as well as through outside trips and events.
