Director Of Rehab (Full-Time) Sign On And Relocation Available

Thank you for considering our Director of Rehab position at Four Corners Regional Care Center in Blanding, UT. This is a salaried position with eligibility to receive a monthly bonus.

We are only considering Occupational Therapists or Physical Therapists at this time. We will consider therapists whether they are newly graduated or experienced in their profession.

Sign-On Bonuses and Relocation Assistance are available and will be determined on an individual basis.

Job Duties

• Interview/hire therapy staff in cooperation with Recruiting
• Manage relationships with facility leadership/administration
• Understand and ensure the therapy team maintains strict compliance with government regulations and guidelines
• Be the "face of the company" with patient family members and friends
• Create work schedules for the therapy team
• Effectively manage department revenues/expenses to ensure sustainable profitability
• The Director of Rehab oversees the entire therapy department including part-time, full-time, and PRN staff members
• Carry a regular patient caseload. Minimum 50% productivity (expectations vary depending upon the size of the facility)
• Attend regular facility multi-disciplinary management meetings
• Train the therapy team on policies, procedures, and documentation requirements

Education/Experience Required Or Preferred

• Prior DOR experience preferred, but not required
• Competent & confident leading and motivating others
• Current Utah therapy license in good standing
• Sincere love & concern for the geriatric population. They are who matter most!
• Solid understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private-pay reimbursement guidelines (PDPM)
• One year of experience treating patients in a skilled nursing facility is preferred
