Job Description

We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the nutraceutical industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Director of Regulatory Affairs to their team. Responsibilities include:


1) Provide proactive monitoring of regulations and policies to ensure compliance with all the company's products and facilities

2) Work with others in the Quality, Legal, Marketing and Supply Chain Departments to ensure the company meets product launch goals and maintains a pipeline of new product

3) Oversee thorough risk analyses that regulations may have on specific product renovations, new launches, and non-product-related situations

4) Help the Regulatory Affairs Team apply complex regulatory concepts to projects in an easy-to-understand manner

5) Understand the interrelationship between labeling, artwork, and product regulations

6) Understand supplement and food regulations while demonstrating solid interpretation of those regulations to specific business cases & product launches

7) Review changes in international laws and regulations and assess their impact and make recommendations to ensure compliance

8) Maintain regulatory records and files

9) Lead and perform internal policy reviews for global regulatory guidance and regulations

10) Perform other duties as required


Critical Requirements


1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the nutraceuticals industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in regulatory affairs

Compensation and Other Details


Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
