Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits and assessments of internal systems, suppliers, and vendors to ensure adherence to quality requirements
• Establish and maintain robust quality management systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to establish quality standards, processes, and controls
• Define and monitor key quality metrics, analyzing data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy and roadmap to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies, to enhance product quality and efficiency
• Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, providing mentorship, training, and guidance to foster a culture of quality excellence

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA, etc.)
• Demonstrated expertise in driving continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field; master's degree or relevant certifications preferred
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
• Proven experience as a Director of Quality Assurance or in a similar senior quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
