We are seeking a Director of Product Management to join our Slack Innovation Product team – VHQ. This role is an opportunity to define the future of work by creating novel tools and systems to enable teams of all sizes to connect, collaborate, and get more done together. What you will be doing:

• Be an expert on trends in consumer and enterprise tech, and find innovative ways to apply learnings to benefit Slack customers
• Inspire executives, leadership, and cross-functional peers on collaborative product vision and solutions, working with engineering, design, research, and other PMs to drive work forward
• Execute at a fast pace with a focus on learning, user experience, and impact. You’ll make trade-offs, anticipating staffing needs, risks, ensuring frequent and clear communication with your team and your stakeholders.
• Prototype, build and land delightful Slack experiences, leading with deep user empathy
• Develop a product strategy and roadmap that focuses on the opportunities that have the biggest customer impact, making our users lives more pleasant and productive on Slack

What you should have:

• Excellent communication skills, whether working with executives, cross-functional partners, or when mentoring peers
• Customer empathy and product craft, with a strong attention to detail
• Impeccable follow-through. You say what you’ll do, and do what you say. You hold your team to this standard. You don’t let details slip
• Proven track record of prototyping and launching innovative and user-centered products
• 7+ years of experience leading major product initiatives in consumer or enterprise direct-to-consumer product
• A love of ambiguous spaces, creativity in strategy and execution tactics, and always improving the status quo and moving things forward
• As an Individual Contributor role, we are looking for a product leader who is excited to define and build the future of Slack

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,200 to $305,600.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $175,600 to $254,700.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $175,600 to $280,200.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,200 to $305,600.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
