Director Of Pickleball Jobs

Picklemall is currently seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Director of Pickleball. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of and experience in the Pickleball industry, and will be responsible for overseeing nationwide programming, scheduling tournaments, recruiting contract coaches, and collaborating with the Director of Sales and Partnerships to create exciting and interactive events. **Key Responsibilities:**
1. Spearhead the planning, development, and execution of nationwide Pickleball programming, maintaining a focus on consistency and quality.
2. Manage the scheduling and organization of Pickleball tournaments at both national and regional levels.
3. Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Partnerships to create, promote, and implement engaging, interactive Pickleball events for members.
4. Recruit, hire, and manage contract coaches, ensuring they receive comprehensive training and support.
5. Build and maintain relationships with Pickleball organizations, clubs, and professionals nationwide to promote the sport and foster partnerships.
6. Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of current programs and events, making and implementing recommendations for improvements as needed.
7. Stay informed about trends and developments in the Pickleball industry to ensure our offerings are up-to-date and engaging.
**Qualifications:**
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Pickleball industry, ideally in sports administration, event planning, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in managing sports programs and events, specifically in Pickleball.
3. Demonstrable success in recruiting, managing, and motivating teams.
4. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficiency in using software for scheduling and project management.
7. Deep understanding and passion for the sport of Pickleball.
**Compensation:**
The pay scale for this position varies based on experience and qualifications, with a base monthly pay starting at $5,000.
