Royal Media is seeking a highly analytical Operations Director to join our team. The Operations Director plays a critical role in driving operational excellence and aligning business operations with technology solutions across the organization. The Operations Director will also develop and analyze performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Working closely with the Business Technology Manager, the Operations Director will leverage technology to ensure efficient and effective processes are in place to support Royal Media’s strategic goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead project management efforts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, such as response times, accuracy of documentation, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the COO to develop and execute operational strategies that align with the company’s goals and long-term operational plans
- Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
- Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders to maintain strong relationships
- Oversee and manage existing and new technology initiatives, including the selection, implementation, and optimization of software systems, tools, and platforms
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize administrative operations, such as streamlining documentation processes, improving data management systems, and enhancing communication channels
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational performance and make data-driven decisions
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency
Required Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the media industry
- 7+ years of experience in a management position
- Strong knowledge of technology systems and project management methodologies
- Ability to analyze complex information and develop practical solutions
- Bachelors’ Degree
- Greater San Diego Area (preferred), or ability to travel to San Diego at least once per month
Salary Range: $85-110k base salary, potential annual bonus
