Job Description

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

  • The Director of Operations is responsible for assisting the Vice President & General Manager of CVR in shaping the AVRS company strategy, culture, and direction. Sets strategic direction in alignment with corporate strategy for all aspects of operations.
  • Strategically adjusts departments' activities, policies, and practices to meet or exceed key performance metrics and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Maintains intercompany relations through regular department meetings; maintains on-going interaction; keeps open communication channels with associates by answering questions and explaining policies and procedures; monitors associate morale; and implements or responds to ideas to improve associate engagement and enablement.
  • Champion efficiency ideas, cost reduction measures, and assists with the implementation of changes as they pertain to areas of responsibility and Identifies problems and proposes solutions to other members of senior management.
  • Drive retention of tier 1 accounts through participation of business reviews and other retention strategies
  • Owns employee development that ensures continuous growth and improvement of AVRS
  • Actively supports sales, customer support, audit, and inventory departments to execute AVRS business plan.
  • Responsible for the accurate, efficient, and fiscally responsible daily work and compliance of our account management and implementation teams
  • Coordinate with departments to design, implement, and improve products and services that differentiate AVRS withing the market.
  • Drives business results for a medium size, highly regulated, and complex business in a challenging environment.
  • Partner with industry organizations within California to ensure a positive brand reputation.
  • Participate in the development of overall business planning, implementation, and account management strategies and develop explicit goals and strategies to execute the business plan.
  • Responsible for fostering a strong working relationship with state of California to execute our agreement that provides titling and registration activities on behalf of the state.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in achieving plans through budget management.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated, fast paced, and complex environment. Government relationship management experience a plus
  • Must reside within California.
  • Ability to drive business results through continuous improvement methodologies and employee development program.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Masters is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years in a leadership role in customer service and operations
