Director Of Operations Jobs

Our client is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee the daily production operations of the business. Monitors operations for efficiency and safety, ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements are met/followed.

Job Duties

·Contribute to all aspects of the business as a member to the Leadership Team.

·Develops production schedules to meet internal goals as well as expectations of customers.

·Leads production team through shop supervisors.

·Assures that the monthly shipment goals are achieved.

·Assure product meets the customer requirements.

·Leadership role in developing monthly production forecast and commitments.

·Leads process improvements to improve efficiency of operation.

·Works with Quality personnel to reduce scrap and rework.

·Work in a team environment

·Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

·Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in manufacturing

·7-10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment which includes five years in supervision.

·Aerospace manufacturing industry experience – machine shop environment

·Able to prioritize schedules to meet customer requirements.

·Prepare presentations for Senior Management.

·Good oral and written communications skills

·Comfortable with ERP systems; uses Epicor.

·Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

·A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
