Our client is seeking an exceptional Director of Operational Training and Development within the legal services space to join a forward thinking company in either the Austin or Houston area!

Position Overview:
As the Director of Operational Training, you’ll drive strategic training initiatives that align with business objectives. Your role involves designing and implementing innovative programs to boost workforce skills, productivity, and performance. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective training delivery across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy to foster operational growth.
• Lead the design and implementation of tailored training curriculum.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts for targeted skill-focused programs.
• Oversee training content, evaluate impact, and align with company priorities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate them into the training approach.
• Partner with vendors and manage the training budget to maximize impact.
Additional Details:
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership, HR, and department heads to identify training priorities and align programs with organizational goals.
• Utilize an analytical mindset to measure training effectiveness through data analysis and decision-making.
• Stay informed about legal services processes, industry regulations, and best practices to create informed training solutions.
• Leverage your excellent communication and presentation skills to engage diverse audiences at all organizational levels.
• Manage multiple initiatives concurrently, delivering results within set timelines.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in law, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Possess over 8 years of training experience in the legal services industry within the USA preferred.
• Proven track record in developing and launching large-scale training initiatives.
• Experience with multimedia training platforms, e-learning tools, learning management systems (LMS), and other training technologies.
• Strong expertise in legal industry practices, translating them into effective training solutions.
• Familiarity with instructional design, training technologies, and multimedia platforms.
• Proficiency in project management, communication, and data analysis.
