Director of Nursing Services and Resident Care (Registered Nurse)

Nursing and Management experience required.
Tasks and Responsibilities for Director of Nursing Services and Resident Care includes but is not limited to:

• Conduct daily resident rounds and initiate corrective action as necessary
• Nurse Manager to conduct resident care conferences
• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Conduct staff meetings with all shifts
• Conduct interviews and hire nursing service employees
• Assume responsibility for nursing service compliance to federal, state and local regulations
• Work cooperatively with facility administration, nursing personnel, nurse manager, ancillary personnel, all facility departments!
• Consistently demonstrate responsibility, accountability, and dependability
• Assess resident care needs and assist in the development of individualized plans of resident care
• Report problems to the Executive Director
• Direct, evaluate and supervise all resident care and initiate corrective action as necessary
• Supervision and Scheduling
• Establish good public relations with hospital discharge coordinators
• Direct allocation of nursing service equipment and supplies

Must be an RN graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN is preferred but not required. Must have current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
Nurse Manager experience Required.
Required License/Certifications: RN
