Job Description

Lang Pharma Nutrition is as a high quality, global private label retail product development company which provides a flexible manufacturing offering and solutions for retail partners around the world.


We are seeking an exceptional Director of Materials Management to oversees planning, procurement, storage, control and distribution of materials and products according to company needs and customer requirements.This role works closely with the Inventory Manager in ensuring the integrity of inventory assets and data and collaborates extensively with internal and external partners. This position manages the replenishment and logistics team.


JOB FUNCTION AND DUTIES

  • Direct and collaborate with demand and supply team to create plans that ensure availability of goods
  • Complete product cost review and margin analysis
  • Provide feedback to employees and monitor employee performance against job requirements and metrics
  • Manage inbound logistics and movement of goods
  • Evaluate and improve material management process flows, policies and procedures
  • Work with Sales/Customer Service team to complete purchasing forecasts for financial review
  • Ensure that team members are meeting deadlines on time and accurate for all projects
  • Plan and implement material flow to meet production requirements
  • Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
  • Ensure transportation and storage rates are efficient and cost effective
  • Maintain relationships with all material suppliers, production facilities, warehouses and logistic teams
  • Work with other departments in the organization to successfully launch new items in to the market
  • Analyze customer sales data and product demand rates to maintain high service level
  • Responsible for managing and reviewing all issued purchase orders


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)

  • Dynamic and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills
  • Skilled in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to lead and guide a team through change and growth
  • Ability to handle unanticipated situations and seamlessly navigate shifting priorities
  • Effective in working with all functional areas to move projects forward
  • Ability to use or learn Macola ES ERP and coordinating systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative and sense of urgency
  • Ability develop and leverage strong supplier partnerships
  • Organized and efficient with exceptional attention to detail
  • Expertise in inventory and cost management
  • Knowledgeable of forecasting and budgeting
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and manufacturing functions
  • Exemplary personal and professional integrity; maintains confidentiality
  • Solid data analytics and problem-solving skills


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; with advance degree preferred
  • 10+ years in purchasing, materials management, or supply chain operations
