  • What will you be doing? *


The Director of Marketing will ideate, implement, execute, and maximize the marketing plan for all marketing channels for this iconic property requiring special marketing magic to bring the Inn's story to life.  


You will facilitate all internal and external Marketing & Communications, the marketing strategy, budgeting, and reporting to achieve the goals and vision for the Inn and all the fantastic outlets that are a part of the Inn's family.


You will inspire and grow the marketing team with hiring, training, providing coaching, creating growth goals, performance evaluations, and providing open communication.  


The ability to collaborate in this role is a must; you will be working closely with the Director of Sales, General Manager, Revenue Team, Ownership, various departments heads & Crescent Hotels & Resorts to ensure a cohesive master Marketing plan and the execution of that plan for the Inn, Spa, and outlets.


This role will include planning, directing, organizing, executing, and reporting on all marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns and events, such as the renowned 'Festival of Lights.' 


It will be vital for this candidate to understand, collect, and analyze data & market research to ensure the highest outcome from all marketing campaigns and objectives.


Ability to effectively manage & measure the performance of all 3rd party partners and vendors such as (although not limited to) Public Relations Firms, Social Media Agencies, Creative Design, Branding firms, Digital and Marketing vendors. All while developing new partnerships and marketing opportunities for the Inn.


Must be skilled at managing a Marketing department from a fiscal and budgetary perspective, including preparing, collaborating, and managing the marketing budgets for all areas of the Inn.


Maintain the Mission Inn and Spas brand voice and pillars in everything we do.


  • Minimum Requirements: *


Multiple years of Marketing experience with complex properties with numerous business units such as a resort, spa, multiple culinary outlets, and marketing community events is a must.


Experience Presenting With Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills.


Outstanding leadership & Communications skills


For applicants who will be working in California, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $120,000. -$140,000. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
