Job Description

Build strong relationships with business and technology partners

Responsible for collaboration across functional teams including Connectivity, DevOps, Quality Engineering, Program Management, etc.

Lead product development to support migration of customers across multiple brands into SpeedShip platform; providing technical leadership and support to teams

Collaborate with product teams to drive thought leadership on building a product that can scale across entire our growing Enterprise

Instill and maintain best practices for development team and across technology, including an SDLC based on SAFe agile development, in conjunction with other technology leaders.

Participate in Program Increment (PI) planning utilizing Agile methodology best practices to ensure team is organized and maximizing throughput to deliver on business goals and outcomes

Cultivate a deep understanding of the franchise, agent, internal sales, operations, finance users and the customer experience and develop appropriate workflow and processes that reflect strong user experience design.

Ability to be hands on to triage complex issues across systems and various components

Recruit and build talent creating a high performing team; mentoring team members to help them grow technically and professionally

Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Leadership experience in the logistics industry or adjacent industries applicable to WWEX, including travel and transportation.

Experience in building and leading software development teams with a minimum of 20-30 team members in business and technology transformation in a growth-oriented business.

Experience working with data and related technologies to help drive business reporting needs

Strong understanding of modern technology practices and technical expertise.

Strong understanding of modern development languages, tools, and platforms.

Building collaborative relationships.
