Job Description

CSG Talent are currently working with a rapidly growing cell culture company who are seeking a Director of Global Sales to join their team, reporting directly to the SVP of Commercial.

Their unique and simple to use offering for cell and gene therapy includes scalable, cost-effective disposable solutions designed to take their customers from benchtop R&D to large-scale cGMP manufacturing, and expert process development services to help solve cell culture challenges and accelerate their customers path to commercialization.

Primary Responsibilities
* Mentor and motivate the sales team as well as Recruit for future growth.
* Create and communicate monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and budgets. Ensure C-level executives know the progress towards budget and forecast.
* Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales budget and expand the company's customer base.
* Assess the competitive landscape and institute changes to the sales program in response to competitor changes and industry standards.
* Implement a sales training and orientation program to educate new hires as the company grows.
* Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and contract process development services to customers and prospective customers.
* Confer with customers and prospective customers to assess cell culture equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
* Collaborate with application and field service engineering team to understand customer requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
The following are the minimum qualifications that an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.


* Bachelors degree in a scientific discipline. Chemical or Bioprocess Engineering preferred. MBA a plus
* Minimum 8 years industry experience with 5 or more in sales and sales management roles
* Experience in cell culture, bioprocess, bioreactors, cell and/or gene therapy all desirable
