Job Description

Cambria is looking for a dynamic Facilities Director experienced in multi-site management. This position will oversee, plan and implement facility management practices across a variety of property types. These practices will be implemented by a combination of working with site leaders and directing internal/external resources.

Through these relationships, the Facilities Director will develop an understanding of growth plans at each facility, how the facilities will support the growth, and then synthesize these findings into a course of action. The Facilities Director will act as both tenant and landlord, fulfilling each responsibility/obligation.

Roles & Responsibilities:
The Facilities Director will be responsible and accountable for all facilities management and planning activities ranging from asset management, facilities management, planning and startup. A demonstrated experience working across a corporate, multi-site portfolio is required to:

Asset Management:

  • Develops maintenance policies and procedures that ensure code satisfaction and optimal functionality of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. This will include all emergency systems, roofs, elevators, parking lots, signage, appliances, etc.
  • Routinely inspect facilities, provide reports of findings, and correct deficiencies.
  • Onboard all facilities into a central asset management software
  • Manage a multi-year asset replacement forecast
  • Develop and execute RFPs for trade specific services
  • Develop a fluent understand of Cambria’s portfolio and its facilities’ obligations
  • Develop and be responsible for complicated expense and capital budgets.
  • Initiate and utilize Cambria’s resources to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with site leaders to implement facilities management practices that extend value of the company’s assets and serve as a resource to provide real solutions to site leaders.

Facilities Maintenance, Planning & Startup:

  • Respond to alarms and emergencies off-hours, weekends and holidays
  • Continuously research and be familiar with building regulations, laws and compliance
  • Develop short-, near-, and long-term goals for facilities and grounds
  • Manage multiple capital projects and maintenance programs simultaneously, remotely
  • Develop facility move plans and deploy Cambria resources to execute on plans
  • Provide actionable feedback to building design teams to aid in new facility development

Requirements:

  • Comfort in navigating a business environment with multiple, competing priorities
  • Ability to work irregular hours, as needed
  • Leadership/Supervisory experience
  • Facility management as a service/brokerage experience preferred
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of confidence and stick to doing the right thing
  • Expert understanding of real estate lease and ownership types
  • Creative problem solver, with an interest in the way things work
  • Demonstrated experience with direct responsibility for managing a corporate, multi-site portfolio

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: 7 – 10 Years of Corporate, Multi-Site Management
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred + Relevant Technical Education
  • Systems: Google Suite, Maximo, Presentation Tools

  • Manages People: Yes
  • Travel Requirements: Yes, 30% - 50%
  • Physical Requirements: At times, ability to work irregular hours, tend to emergency calls, schedule last minute travel and travel without restriction across US & Canada.
