The Opportunity

InCharge Energy is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Director of Dealer Sales to accelerate fleets transitioning to zero emission vehicles. As part of the sales team, you will be working with our executive team to find and grow sales to dealerships and manage a team of professionals organized into multiple regions in North America. InCharge has a offers dealerships an integrated solution that combines EV charging hardware, design and installation, maintenance and repair, InControl software, Charging as a Service (CAAS), Solar and Battery storage. What You'll Do

  • Provide input to executive team, product development, marketing and program managers to assure cutting-edge, sellable products and channel strategies
  • Directly manage a team of 6 to 10 salespeople to success in a commissioned structure that is scalable
  • Lead sales forecasting for dealership business to guide resource allocation
  • Effectively communicate the company's and products' Unique Selling Proposition through presentations, proposals, and team training materials
  • Engage the largest dealer groups in strategic, multi-site deployments of InCharge services
  • Coordinate with Sales Enablement team to develop tools to support achieving the sales objectives and reporting to OEMs and executives
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase sales volume to North American dealers
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly bookings and revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to assure repeat business overtime
  • Travel to represent InCharge in customer-facing conferences and speaking events
  • Lead the sales team by example through ongoing use of Salesforce and high quality data reporting
  • Identify and report forces that shift the strategic direction of accounts and customer budgets and shift strategies to assure long-term success
  • Coordinate with InCharge program managers, who are responsible for program design, OEM relationships, and marketing integration to assure success in each OEM dealer program

Your Experience and Capabilities

  • Experience working across multiple departments within an organization to develop superior customer solutions: sales, marketing, engineering, products, and operations
  • Detail-oriented, good follow-through, able to multitask, and work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment to meet client and internal deadlines
  • Experience in Fleets, electrical services, OEM sales or service is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • Ability to travel 35%
  • 3-5 years of experience of direct to dealer or vehicle sales, or dealership sales and growth management for an OEM
  • Experience managing sales executives to success
  • Outstanding written and verbal skills, with the ability to present to our client's senior management teams, maintain client correspondence and internal documentation
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM

US Salary Range

$125,000—$140,000 USD
