Director Of Business Operations

Dance Team Union (“DTU”) is the fastest growing dance team training and competition company in the United States, with customers in over 30 states participating in more than 50 in-person events throughout the year. Our sole passion and focus is dance! We are looking for a Director of Business Operations to manage the daily business operations of DTU, ensuring that the company is well-coordinated and productive by managing our legal, financial and administrative processes and coaching our staff and independent contractors related thereto to execute our business plan and achieve our company’s goals.

• Consult with DTU’s ownership to make decisions for business activities and set strategic goals
• Manage DTU’s procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation
• Oversee DTU’s customer support processes related to the functions above
• Evaluate the company’s performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
• Review DTU’s financial information and adjust operational budgets to enhance profitability
• Revise and/or formulate internal business and legal policies and implement them within the company
• Evaluate regularly the efficiency of our business procedures and work to improve where needed
• Manage DTU’s outside relationships/agreements with customers, external partners and vendors
• Ensure that the business runs with legality and conformity to established regulations
• Plan and monitor the day-to-day financial and business operations to ensure smooth progress

• Reside in the Nashville, TN metro area or be willing to relocate
• Proven experience as Director of Business Operationsor equivalent position
• Outstanding communication and people skills
• BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
• Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM)
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service, etc.)
