Rohan Commercial Painting is a growing commercial painting company located in Fairfax Virginia. Our focus is working with building owners and property management companies in the DC Metro area. Most of the work that we do is considered commercial repaints; we do not focus on new construction. Job Expectations

·To find and develop new clients, while nurturing existing clients and selling work so that the team can deliver a client-experience that is second to none.

·Flexible working hours of roughly 7am to 4pm (Set your own schedule)

·Should be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a desire to uphold our high standards of service.

·This position is a long-term position that will develop clients over many years.

·Reports to the President.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work with Project Managers to ensure our Supervisors are delivering your projects to our clientele as you sold them, meeting and exceeding their expectations.
  • Complete necessary administrative paperwork and duties.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients.
  • Identify prospects and use creative lead generation techniques to find new business.
  • Attend networking events as needed to grow clientele.
  • Meet sales goals and grow your client base with new and existing business.
  • You will gain experience with estimating scaffolding, lifts, and other equipment to handle high elevation projects (Access) (Training Provided)
  • Complete sales and estimating appointments weekly.
  • Manage and schedule work sold on a weekly basis.
  • Schedule estimates for leads as they are generated.
  • Provide competitive pricing for painting interior and exterior painting projects, as well as flooring, drywall repairs, graphics, and other associated services.
  • Ability to estimate and write detailed proposals and estimates.
  • It is important to have extensive technical and application knowledge as well as experience with high performance and upscale coatings including: Polomyx, Zolatone, Scuffmaster, Floor Coatings, Urethanes, Epoxies, Masonry/Concrete Coatings, Steel Coatings, Caulking, Wallcoverings, etc. (Training Provided)
  • Provide an extraordinary client-experience.
  • Follow up with outstanding estimates weekly.
  • Follow up with prospects and current customers weekly.
  • Ability to break down accurate labor and material job budgets.

Business Development / Sales / Estimating

·Meet clients on projects as needed.

·Meet with existing clients.

·Develop a list of potential new clients.

·Develop and implement a sales plan to grow our business with property management companies we don’t do much work with.

·Attend meetings and functions as needed.

·Entertain clients at local events, dinners, luncheons, and outings.

·Meet with clients and formulate scopes of work for their projects.

·Write up and present estimates to clients.

·Follow up and negotiate estimates as needed to close sales.

·Review and qualify legal issues and contracts.

·Utilize Pipedrive CRM to track sales goals, budgets, estimates, and projects.

·Be dedicated to building and maintaining strong client relationships long-term.


Scheduling / Project Oversight

·Schedule contracted projects for crews on work calendars in coordination with the team.

·Make scheduling adjustments weekly as necessary in coordination with the team.

·Monitor job progress and oversee quality control in collaboration with the Project Manager.

·Conduct final walk-throughs and follow up visits in collaboration with Project Managers for large projects.
