Position: Director of Accounting

Location: Patterson, NJ

Salary: $125k – 145k +B

Stable Manufacturing firm based in NJ seeks a Director of Accounting to lead their Team!

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile cash accounts at Key Bank on a monthly basis
• Oversee all General Accounting tasks
• Close the Accounting Books accurately on a monthly basis
• Monitor and Report Cash Position
• Supervise Accounts Payable function\Provide AP Clerk guidance with regard to the
• Ensure successful annual audits by outside auditors
• Determine prospective customers’ credit worthiness Establish customer credit limits and terms
• Supervise Accounts Receivable Function
• Supervise the Billing Function
• Maintain all balance sheet account reconciliations and analyses on a monthly, quarterly basis
• Review and distribute financial reports on a monthly basis to senior management
• Review, account coding, support documents, and accrual of AP items
• Maintain the company’s Fixed Asset System
• Review and report WIP and Finished Goods Inventories

Job Qualifications:

• Prior supervisory experience a must (5-10 yrs)
• Prior Accounting Manager experience a must (5-10 yrs)
• 4 Year College degree in Accounting
• Prior manufacturing experience a must
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc) and Word a must
