  • Develop and manage a strategy that defines our long-term aspirations, target customer, differentiation from competition, and dependent systems and resources to execute
  • Align with the marketing organization to build demand-generation campaigns in line with the overall marketing strategy
  • Derived from the strategy, create and manage a business plan that establishes financial goals and the required combination of objectives and activities for all roles that support the execution of the AWS business
  • Ownership for the internal AWS Profit and Loss (P&L) performance, including management of all budget planning and expense management
  • Maintain alignment with the Cloud Solutions and Services teams to ensure the AWS strategy is supported with the appropriate technical capabilities and capacity, and that our AWSstrategy is in step with the long-term direction of company’s services roadmap
  • Indirectly manage the execution of the AWS business plan through the general sales organization by maintaining alignment with regional and district sales leaders
  • Work with Softchoice Operations and Legal teams to ensure compliance against all AWSpartnership obligations, and manage risk where appropriate

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Executive presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-departmental collaboration on strategic initiatives
  • Experience managing executive-level relationships
  • Creative and strategic thinker with strong presentation experience
  • Longstanding knowledge of the public cloud market, with experience for developing strategies and business plans that win in that market
  • Experience developing and communicating marketing strategy to various stakeholders
  • The ideal candidate would have 10 to 15 years of business-to-business sales and marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or equivalent work experience
