As the Managing Director of a highly successful Life Science Recruitment staffing agency, you will be responsible for launching leading and overseeing the overall operations, strategic direction, and growth of the Raleigh office.


You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing business strategies to drive success and maintain our position as a leading provider of contract recruitment services within the Life Science industry. Your strong leadership, industry expertise, and business acumen will be instrumental in guiding our team to achieve exceptional results.


Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership:

  • Provide strategic direction to the team, setting clear goals and objectives to achieve business targets.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to ensure the agency remains at the forefront of the Life Science recruitment market.
  • Develop and implement a clear vision and strategic plan for the agency, aligning with the goals and objectives of the organization.
  • Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities, expanding client base, and enhancing our service offerings within the Life Science sector.

Operations Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry associations, and partners.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the agency's performance and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the agency, ensuring efficient workflow, optimal resource allocation, and effective utilization of technology and tools.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professional development, and employee engagement.

Business Development:

  • Drive business development efforts by identifying and targeting potential clients, building strategic relationships, and expanding our network within the Life Science industry.
  • Lead client engagement activities, including proposal development, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and develop effective marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies, ensuring revenue growth and achievement of sales targets.

Team Management:

  • Grow, Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of recruiters and support staff, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the development of talent within the organization.
  • Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to drive individual and team excellence.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous learning.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the agency's annual budget, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective resource allocation, fee negotiation, and efficient utilization of resources.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective measures as needed.
