As a Director of IT Vendor Management, you will lead the IT North America Vendor Management Office through the vendor lifecycle, including demand planning, sourcing, performance management, governance, financial management, risk management and relationship management. You will lead and enable the transformation of how Nestlé IT leverages partners effectively to achieve the optimal mix of flexibility, value, and innovation by enabling the Vendor Management community of practice to consume, source, and govern partner engagement. In addition, you will drive initiatives for IT Digital Transformation in the office of the CIO.


You will play an active role in leading and coaching Product Managers, IT leaders, and IT Vendor Management Specialists through our transformation to deliver and integrate with a select group of strategic partners. Also, you will provide the entire IT Vendor Management team and community with competency growth paths, standards, ways of working for effective partner value delivery, templates, and guidance from Statement of Work definition to value and risk management during contact execution.

  • Define requirements in terms of RFP scheduling and bundling, determines the IT criteria for partner selection, supports the procurement selection process, and the scope-related part of the negotiation for large and complex contracts.
  • Leverage global contracts, improvements, and the selection of appropriate service delivery models.
  • Allocate team efforts according to IT units’ value creation and size, maturity, and readiness for various IT Operating companies and business groups.
  • Plan out an automation and analytics agenda to drive transparency for the assigned scope per vendor and deliver expected quality and value to IT partners across the product portfolio and the IT organization globally.
  • Manage the integration, service delivery, and compliance of partners and vendor services.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including NA IT Leadership, IT resource management, product management, procurement, Global Procurement, IT Finance, OCIO Transversal Teams, strategic partners, and vendors.
  • Communicate and lead a clear mission, vision, and guiding principles for the IT Partner Delivery Management Specialists to align with the IT and business strategies and drive the IT and digital service strategies.
  • Develop, adopt, adapt, and deploy IT North America Vendor Management strategy and sourcing models in compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Lead the evaluation of optimal sourcing and pricing options, taking into consideration outsourcing, managed services, cloud, hybrid, and insourcing models as multi-partner ecosystem strategies.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 10+ years of experience managing and negotiating IT contracts, vendor teams, performance, and SLAs.
  • 5+ years of IT delivery experience and understanding of technology acumen.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT program and Project Management.
  • Bachelors in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, OR 4+ years of equivalent work experience in IT or Business.


OTHER
  • Previous professional exposure to a complex contract delivery framework in a multi-vendor environment across a global and regional organizational structure is preferred.
  • Understanding of Contract Requirements (Contract Management experience with IT Partners from specification definitions to contract signature) and Asset Management is preferred.
