Job Description
Egnyte’s secure content collaboration and governance platform serves thousands of financial services companies across all sub-industries, including such market leaders as NASDAQ, NFP and Lincoln Financial. Banks, exchanges, broker-dealers, PE firms, VC firms and wealth management companies everywhere rely on us to manage regulated data, collaborate internally and externally, and to protect their data.

We are now hiring a Director of Financial services, to lead our efforts in the industry. As Egnyte’s financial services practice leader you will build and lead our industry team, develop and execute Egnyte’s strategy for growth in the industry and work across the organization to help drive everything from go to market, to product roadmap and customer success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with Egnyte’s marketing team to build our industry specific messaging.
  • Support key sales cycles as a subject matter expert.
  • Develop Egnyte’s financial services industry strategy and drive its execution.
  • Hire and lead Egnyte’s financial services industry team.
  • Work cross-functionally with all parts of Egnyte’s organization to drive initiatives and grow the financial services business.
  • Identify industry specific use cases, collaborate with Egnyte’s Product team to build industry solutions, and design product packages and pricing to serve the industry.
  • Own Egnyte’s financial services KPIs
  • Leverage an in depth understanding of industry workflows, complementary software solutions and trends to improve Egnyte’s position and market offering.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Entrepreneurial: Highly productive self-starter with the passion and motivation to grow the financial services business.
  • MBA a strong advantage
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident public speaker.
  • Domain expertise: meaningful experience working with or for SaaS vendors serving the financial services industry. Solid understanding of the financial services software ecosystem.
  • Analytical: Ability to analyze complex situations and drive decisions despite incomplete information.
  • Experienced Leader: Demonstrated success in leading a team in a high growth environment.
  • Collaboration: Team oriented with an ability to lead in a matrixed environment, with or without formal authority.
  • Intrapreneurial: Have a desire to build new initiatives inside a larger, high-growth organization.
  • Go to market expertise: 8+ years participating in sales, strategy or marketing within organizations in the financial services industry or in consulting roles serving the industry.
  • Influence: Ability to build trusted advisor relationships through effective consultation, strategic input, advice, domain expertise, and best practices
