Director, Financial Planning & Analysis


Overview


The Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Department within Worldwide Finance is predominately responsible for financial planning, corporate reporting and projects that support financial processes across the organization. The FP&A team conducts financial analysis for executive management including long-range planning, budgeting, and forecasting. The Director, FP&A will be based in Purchase and will be responsible for supporting the Vice President, FP&A across a broad spectrum of strategic processes and initiatives.

Role


  • Drive global efforts to expand scope of artificial intelligence based forecasting
  • Lead the process and analytics of the cash flow forecast (from operating activities)
  • Lead efforts to identify efficiency opportunities to consolidate management reporting modules/processes to a single source (product P&L, managerial P&L, government, merchant, etc.)
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support business decisions
  • Support day-to-day financial planning and reporting activities, including executive management reporting and financial budget & forecast
  • Support decision-making processes, by providing forward-looking analysis and insights including “what if” scenario analyses
  • Assist with improvements to existing reporting
  • Support preparation of financial presentations & analyses for the Executive Committee, Operating Committee and Global Board
  • Partner with regional and business unit finance departments to understand business drivers, provide operational analysis and reporting
  • Tracking of company's strategic investments
  • Track and monitor shadow P&L reporting, including Government revenue
  • Act as a subject matter expert on management reporting modules such as managerial P&Ls, including the launch of monthly production and the use case development of the managerial P&Ls


All About You


  • The ideal candidate is fast-paced and highly analytical who demonstrates business acumen and thought leadership to deliver results within a global, growing and profitable business
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel/PowerPoint) in data compilation, aggregation and modeling is required
  • Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, Power Pivot strongly desired
  • Previous experience in FP&A is required
  • A BS or BA with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA Preferred) with previous finance experience
  • A team player with the ability to communicate effectively and develop solid working relationships across multiple levels and organizational boundaries is required
