Job Description


The Director – Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Corporate functions will be a strategic leader responsible for driving the financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis processes for the company’s corporate functions. This individual will play a critical role in influencing key business decisions by providing valuable insights and actionable recommendations to executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, and excellent communication skills.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Cost allocation management. Support and improve cost allocation management to ensure full reconciliation
  • Leadership. Manage, mentor, and develop a high performing FP&A team to support the needs of corporate functions and the broader organization.
  • Budgeting and forecasting. Drive budget and forecast process for corporate functions, including IT, Finance, Compliance, Legal, HR, Risk, Audit, Operations, Strategy, and other administrative departments, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives and financial targets.
  • Performance analysis. Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness and efficiency of corporate functions
  • Process improvement. Continuously evaluate and enhance FP&A processes, systems, and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Management reporting. Lead the production and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, highlighting key trends and variances for executive leadership.
  • Business partnering. Partner with functional leaders to understand business drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance. Manage ad hoc requests from business owners, and local & home office finance counterparties
  • Communication. Communicate financial results, trends, and recommendations to executive leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Strategic support. Provide financial support for strategic initiatives, including new products, mergers, business case development, and cost optimization projects.


Qualifications


  • Keen attention to detail and excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across the organization.
  • Ability to be highly organized and deliver quality work in timely manner to meet tight deadlines and handle pressure situations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret a wide range of financial information
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.


The expected base salary ranges from $137,500 - $225,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
