Job Description
As Chief Information Security Officer (Director), you'll be responsible for information security across Ingenovis Health - implementing an information security program which supports rapid business growth, ensuring the company's data and platforms are trusted and secure, and communicating the cybersecurity mission.
Reporting to the General Counsel, you'll serve as a key business leader and security representative interfacing with the Ingenovis Health executive team, board of directors, and various business stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assemble and lead a skilled security team, fostering a culture of collaboration, partnership, and continuous improvement to achieve goals.
  • Manage company’s security and compliance framework; plan, coordinate and execute metrics-driven initiatives to reduce risks and meet security & compliance goals in partnership with cross-functional company leadership.
  • Manage annual security audits and activities required to support the audit program.
  • Performs additional duties as requested by management.
  • Conduct proactive risk assessments, leading teams to address identified gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate and incorporate third party vendors and tools to support Ingenovis Health' security program.
  • Develop short term and long-term resource plans for addressing data privacy and future strategic initiatives.
  • Investigate actual and potential risks and breaches under the direction of the General Counsel, coordinating incident response and remediation with internal external stakeholders and law enforcement as appropriate.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and regular updates to key Ingenovis Health executive leadership, Board of Directors, and functional stakeholders on areas including existing and emerging security risks, compliance frameworks, regulatory requirements, industry standards, secure software development practices, and technical security measures.
  • Develop and enforce enterprise-wide information security policies and procedures in accordance with best practices, working with information technology colleagues across subcompanies and business units to incorporate various IT platforms.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 8+ years of information security leadership experience within a business enterprise environment.
  • Expertise with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27000 series, SSAE-18/SOC 2, and HIPAA.
  • Influencing skills – using data to support decision making of business patterns, fostering open communication, and being supporting and effective in a team environment.
  • Experience performing cybersecurity due diligence for mergers & acquisitions.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; related security professional certification such as CISSP, CISM or CISA preferred.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to convey business insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to professionally present complex concepts in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Great organizational skills, with ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analysis skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Deep subject matter expertise in information security best practices on areas including existing and emerging security risks, compliance frameworks, regulatory requirements, industry standards, secure software development practices, and technical security measures.
