We're on the hunt for an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to steer our technology development and strategy. You will oversee the strategic direction of our tech landscape and infrastructure, with an emphasis on AI applications and compliance. You should possess a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a knack for innovative problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

1. Define and execute a strategic IT plan that aligns with our business objectives.

2. Implement new systems and infrastructure to improve productivity, efficiency, and robustness, with a focus on AI applications.

3. Ensure full legal and regulatory compliance for all IT functions, especially those concerning energy markets.

4. Manage IT budgets, vendors, and teams, optimizing resources for maximum efficacy.

5. Liaise with stakeholders across the organization to coordinate IT initiatives.

6. Cultivate a culture of forward-thinking innovation within the IT team.

7. Evaluate potential risks and improvements in IT systems and AI applications.

8. Stay ahead of the curve on emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in AI.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, AI, or related field.

2. Minimum of 15 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a CIO or similar leadership role, preferably in AI-focused organizations.

3. Proven experience in IT strategy development and implementation, with a strong emphasis on AI applications.

4. Deep understanding of AI systems, IT infrastructure, emerging technologies, and legal compliance.

5. Exceptional project management and team leadership skills.

6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

7. Experience working in a startup environment, particularly within the energy sector, is highly desirable.
